Bagali's says:

What is New Orleans Italian?

Bagali's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar is an Italian restaurant taking inspiration from the diverse city of New Orleans. We find inspiration primarily from Italy, yet also draw from the traditions of French, Spanish, Creole, Cajun and even good old Southern cooking. It is this 'gumbo" mix of cultures that makes the food of the Crescent City unique and interesting. Our menu has food as simple as spaghetti marinara, pizza and sandwiches. Yet it also has signature New Orleans Italian dishes such as crawfish cakes, seafood stuffed eggplant, blackened fish or BBQ Shrimp with Grits. You certainly will find traditional Italian classics, yet also something a little different from your normal everyday Italian fare.

Our Philosophy

We are independently owned and operated. The owners pride themselves on using the freshest, local, organic , and hormone free ingredients possible. We always try to support local farms, artisan cheese makers, bakers and wineries whenever possible. Our beautiful environment is also important to us, so we recycle and use environmentally friendly products whenever possible.

Our Location

Our location at 570 Zang Street is near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Broomfield's Flatiron area. This allows for breathtaking views of the the mountains from most seats in the restaurant especially our deck. Our bar and lounge is a great place to unwind and boasts a extensive wine list including over 25 by the glass. We also have a great set up to watch any sports action you wish.

We seat approximately 110 people in the main dining room with a additional 40 in our "Green Room". Our spacious deck holds an additional 60, weather permitting.

Reservations are available for our back "Green Room" area. This area can be reserved for business meetings or any special occasion you may have. For more details, please call 303-465-WINE (9463).

Join me at this beautiful new bar and grill (formerly The Tanglewoods) in Evergreen.  The Woodcellar has ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC SATURDAY NIGHTS, from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. I will be hosting the open mic nights on Saturday, February 20th and Saturday March 16th. Other hosts will be there on other Saturday nights. I will also be performing at the Woodcellar for a regular night of music (no open mic) on Wednesday night, January 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. (sponsored by Advantage Design Stucco and Stone), and I will be there on Valentine's Day from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Here's how the open mic (also called open stage) night works:

My sound system (microphone, stand, mixer/amp, speakers, and vocal effects) will be set up at The Woodcellar.
You can bring your own guitar, or use one of my guitars. Other acoustic instruments are welcome, too.

If you have time to do so, email me at
greggmusic@msn.com any time between now and before 4:00 p.m. on the day you plan to attend my open mic night and let me know what time you want to perform. You can perform as few as one song, or as many as you want, if there is time. Most performers will probably perform for around 20 minutes, and time slots will initially be set for 20 minutes. If you can't email me in advance, that's OK too. Performers will do their set based on first arrived, first to perform basis.  However, scheduling early helps if you want a specific time slot.

The audience will be friendly and looking forward to hearing you perform original or cover songs.

When the guest performers are not performing, or if there are not any guest performers, I will be singing and playing guitar - doing the songs you know and love from my song list containing more than 300 popular songs.

The Woodcellar says:

La Estrellita says:

La Estrellita restaurants began in 1953 in the small town of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, 26 miles north of Denver. Those were the good times, when you could buy a pop for 10 cents, music was 5 cents and a combination plate was $1.25. The first location was owned by Grandma Stella and Grandpa Sal Montoya. They closed the restaurant in 1967.

In October 1986, their son John R. Montoya along with his sons, John Jr. and Ken Montoya again started the great tradition of La Estrellita's great Mexican food, serving the finest Mexican food this side of Heaven. Ken runs the Westminster location.

In 1993, Steve came on board, followed by Gina in 1997. Together, they run La Estrellita in Brighton, CO.

In 1995, because of the enormous demand from our customers, we started bottling our salsas.

Monument, CO 80132

Phone (719) 481-6000

DATES: TBD

www.sundancemountainlodge.com

Here's what Sundance says: "For those who are tired of staying at a boring, traditional, sterile, hotel… there is Sundance Mountain Lodge, a modern, environmentally friendly mountain lodge conveniently located between Denver and Colorado Springs. Our lodge was cleverly built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and from the moment you step inside you’ll know you are in cozy Colorado.

We are not your typical hotel that is located on a sea of pavement next to the local fast food restaurant. We are uniquely set upon 5 beautiful acres on Monument Hill with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak and Sundance Mountain, which we take our name from. Our hotel is nestled among many mature trees and overlooks a serene pond where geese and other birds reside. Step out onto your balcony and you will hear the delightful sound of our 3 waterfalls and view our well manicured courtyard with an enchanting gazebo.

For the young and young at heart, you’ll find our playground and Native American tipi quite a unique experience… perhaps one that will take you back to your childhood. And if you are in need of assistance during your stay in one of our cozy guest rooms or during your business meeting or event, our professional Associates are available to cater to your every request.

Oakley’s Bar and Restaurant also offers plenty of activities for kids of all ages and features artwork by local artists. Have an event here and enjoy food and banquets served by exceptional staff.

Spend time with us and experience Colorado as it was meant to be."

Meade St. Station says "Sit down and have a conversation. Enjoy a great meal. Listen to local bands play (you can leave the earplugs at home). Mead Street Station is a neighborhood bar like they used to come - with a down-to-earth attitude that makes everyone feel welcome. Come by yourself or come with friends. You are sure to enjoy our extensive and unique menu, both for lunch and dinner.

(Be sure to try fish and chips, something we are VERY proud of.)

Our old-world atmosphere will make you feel comfortable whether you are here to enjoy a couple of drinks or in the mood for some great music that you don't have to shout over. And, speaking of drinks, we are sure to please just about everyone with our selection of tap and bottled beers, wine, and, of course, single-malt scotch."
